Same reply as Fuzzr really. Got caught speeding doing 115 mph on the mway got away with it as one of the coppers was sound and my crying tugged his heart strings. Also got booked for my number plate being at the wrong angle. One cop was decent and one was a coont. No different to most businesses which is what the Police is now.

Get out the bandwagon, the lemmings are out early this year. This debate/opinion usually happens in the summer months, i totally agree with Dhd on this one, good and bad in all jobs, some more than others, and what a way to kick up a storm.

(example from driving my old car)

About 2 years ago i was speeding down the M4 from the coldra to newport, not long had my car fitted with a turbo at the time so i drove like a COMPLETE TWAT! just after the st jullians junction i noticed a flashing blue light in my mirrors.....run or stop...so i did the sensible thing n stopped........only to find it was my ex girlfirends father (unmarked armed-response) id only over-taken him and was clocked @140mph!!!....let of scott free with a slap on the wrist and a good talking to. And that was after id used n abused his daughter!! That should of been an instant ban!!

3 weeks ago im stopped by a member of gwent police for not having a clear number plate (i had been up wentwood forest for 4-5 hours...caked in fresh mud from head to toe and travelling directly home which is 5 mins away without touching any main roads) slapped with 3 points a £60 fine, a producer for my documents and a defect notice. (clean plate n get it checked by an m.o.t station) what a hassle over nothing. what a pain in the cock! It was un-justified as u could still make out the numbers and letters clearly...i had wiped it with a rag befor leaving the forest. just another way for them to make a quick buck.

Theres good n bad coppers out there...but sadly...the bad out-weigh the good.
