Phil evans for moderator (NEW POLL) Dhd to stand down

I have been looking through this site over night and a few weeks and philevans contrbutes as much and more here on the forums than dhd and mm so therefour i am putting up this poll for Philevans to be a moderator and dhd and mayby mm to stand down.

I am newbie yes but Philevans dont use vulgar words,He is on top of his game here on the forums and seems to be the only one to carlm things down and lets everyone have they'r say here,Nevermind if they say it different he will not judge people by they'r talk.

IMO dhd is the wrong man for he job ,He takes things to heart and is power happy with the role of moderator .He was better on the forums and so was this site.Since the change of mods there has been air in this place and people are scared to post they'r views and let ther'r hair down here .

MM was a good choice but not needed as only one mod is needed i think on here for the time being.
MM did start posting up threads about subjects then it all went cold,He might have to much on with work wise to be a mederator and that is why he might be happy to also step down.But dhd over mods this site so mm has not got a chance ,Only seems to be there to keep dhd in order.(IMO)

So people of all ages and all parts of the land i think its time for change and i sugest that Philevans  be elected and voted up for the new site moderator .

I,m sure 80%agree with me and change is a good thing .

Can it run admid as change i think is needed and someone had to speak out.

I'm happy with the choices of Mod to be honest. There is only a small number of occasions where Mod intervention is required, other than the Mods are rarely needed.

Besides, Phil might not want to do it!

SKY, dont know who you are as I have never seen a post frm you before, I think the point that you are missing here is that this is an open forum but most of the members know eachother including me and DHD, infact I spent christmas and newyears with him and his family.

A lot of the members on here have known us and eachother for years and seeing as you obviously do not know us personally I think you have judged a little harshly.
I do agree with a few of your point however, and I do agree that this is an open free thinking forum. I am also aware that you ahve been sending PM's to DHD so maybe you have an alterior motive for this post.

I have no problem in leaving your post where it is as I was positioned as a MOD by the Stig and no one voiced any objections to this, as far as you trying to rally the troops against 100% of the sites moderators I think you will fail, dismally.

I think a better way for you to introduce yourself to the masses is to maybe start a few topics and conversations yourself and get to know us a bit before trying to start a whitch hunt.

Yes you are right I have been away from the site recently but that has been my choice, there is no time limit that a moderator has to spend on the site, and like you sometimes I read without being logged in.

Again I welcome you to the site and ask you to consider what it is you are asking, as you do not know us and may think differently when you do.

I sent a pm to dhd wishing him happy birthday(couldnt you have put that in your above post).Also its not a dig at dhd or you i am a person looking in on this forum ,An outsider looking at the way this forum is going and seems to be for the familly crowd .Untill people meet it seems they are not welcome(as a person looking in)

For a strainger looking in on this forum i realy think that philevans would be a better chaice for the job.Yes it looks like you wanto keep the job aswell and thats fine also dhd wants to keep the moderator job,Butas for a person looking in that i think is time for a fresh change and philevans is the perfect person for the role.
However like a good forum i respect your views and respect that you came and posted the views.
The views and posts will make this forum a good forum.
I reapect every person on here and this poll was an outlooker looking in for to make this bike forum better not worce.

I am sure my opinion is aloude even though i am a newbie and i havent posted untill now as like outhers i may not posts for days but i do read the forums.

Everyone maybe welcome sir but not everyone gets the same treatment understand i am fresh and new and the known trouble makers as you put it would you still talk or ride with them out there on the streets?yes i realy think you would so why after i looked back at the forums were people getting banned and bullied but mods were taking sides and the bullies were let off as they seemed to instigate the jokers into retaliation.now the jokers are baned ,Well every on about is on pope and twosme and i think people like them carictors make a site ,But when they are pushed away by a power happy mod that could have sorted things out on a forum like adults not school children then its pick on lumberjck time last night i see.

I realy think (i say we as i know a few of you)i realy think philevans would be a better choice of mod.

Which my friend is exactly the two reasons the banned members were banned for. Not to hard to live by two rules is it really, what you dont see mate is that arguements with the two banned members were being sorted out for months before they were banned quite effectively but unfortunately the two banned member after much conversation broke the two main rules, only one account and no threats.

For instance, if I posted up "MM IS A CROSS DRESSING FAGGOT , WHO WEARS A SKIRT AND CAN'T KNOCK HIS WAY THROUGH A DUREX"....

A stranger may think that I am being Homophobic and having a go at him........on the contrary..it's a bit of an in joke, as MM is a mate of mine and he wears a Kilt..I just happen to take the piss out of it , coz he's a mate......

And I think it would be up to the STIG as to wether he wants Phil as A MOD...AND wether Phil would want the job anyway???
