and I should add the that once the banner adverts cover the cost of hosting t-shirts, stickers will go back to cost

We tried the donations button & that didn't work

Stickers are currently going to cost me 50p each

I was hoping that in when the site started merchandising products it would hopefully help the site to self-fund so that we don’t have to pay a subscription fee of any sort and I do think this is important.
I think we can produce all sorts of labels, Badges, visor stickers and yes cloth badges which I would love, but give it time guys lets support the admin they are doing a great job maybe in the future the forum will raise some extra revenue to fund events
(that will open another can of worms) who knows.

I know the costs for maintaining websites and forums there not cheep so thank you STIG for funding this site so far and Ranger for all the IT work and our MOD’s.

PS stickers for under a pound are you drawing them yourself and I wont ask how you are making them sticky.

I'm going to make my own welshbikers visor sticker as my mate has just bought a sticker making machine  :thumbsup

Can I also add as I do feel a bit part of this that the stickers are from a friend’s son who’s bought a sticker machine as a start of a project he’s working. This kid has just turned 17 and not a big printing company. In fact his dad is a fellow biker that some of you might know.

I didn’t think twice that there would be a problem with this and all we were doing was buying a couple of stickers for Pope and me... no one else on here (as we’d been asked not to).
It was doing a favour for a friend hence the cost, which was making no profit for us just helping out someone we know.
I explained this to Stig yesterday so I’m sure he wouldn’t mind me posting this.
I didn’t realise that such strong views would be had over this and I’m sorry if we caused offence and also I didn’t realise that there was a struggle to keep up the costing of the sight.
Once I’m unbanned I’ll be the first to make a contribution (can't pay in work)
Same goes for everyone else, come on get your hands in your pockets....  :tap  :fishing
Cheers  :cheers

Bloody hell what a topic!!

Can I add a an idea?  :boxing

I think the idea of a 10x6 sticker is good and would suit most but not all. Maybe a sticker with "You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login" in black, white or silver just to point out a few to stick on visors, screens or any other parts that they wish to be stuck on.

I know it summat that a lot of other forums do but it's simple and effective advertisement of the forum which will help us grow.

What do you think?

NO!! :bandana :fishing

Yes of course I've been intalks with a certain member of this forum

I won't mention his name unless he'd like me too

Seems I may have been wrong about visor stickers & they seem very popular

So I've corrected the order & got some long thin ones in

They will be here by end of the week

HOPEFULLY :weed

And of course a big shout out to Mojo for the designs :thumbsup
