In fact I was pushing for Stiggy to make a 'Like' smiley for us to use for that exact purpose. Some members however ONLY post these smileys and never add anything to the threads. If it was a ride out report yep I agree this works wonders when there is nothing else to add. I do find a lot of threads go off topic quickly though wow I do sound really grumpy

This is a topic that has come up time and time again
I'll stick to my guns by saying it's your forum make of it what you will

People do lurk I should know looking at the forum stats but everyones different
If you don't see something post about it
If you see something you dont like report it (the button is on every page)

I like to think we a very diverse range of topics on everything not just motorcycles because we all have other things/interests we like to talk about and share

As for a like button it would take hours of work this is after I have looked into how
I'm not saying no but it won't be tomorrow or in a weeks time
I will keep you all posted on it though

Off topic posts are a pain & I've spoken to the mods to be aware & to try & delete posts but we are not always online so again it's your forum so if you think it's going off topic report it
The mods & myself will then get alerted to the reported posts on our next log in.

as others have said the forum is what you make it!!

i've recieved a massive amount of help and support from members of this forum both mechanicly and personaly, and would never want to put anyone off becoming a part of the local biking comunity!

but unfortunatly you will always have people that can't accept or will look for the negative within any comments so they can make things suit there needs!!  and i will say in the past i've with held comments and posting threads due to knowing that some people will purposely misinterperate whats being said and no amount of moderation can change this.....

so i guess from this all i can say is take the rough with the smooth and some of the people who are first to take the piss are also the first to help you out when your in need

I guess I'm really guilty of lurking but have to admit to not minding someone sticking  or  or  on any post I put, at least it means someone read it and was decent enough to let me know they had an opinion

It simply isn't worth replying if all that you can write is a line of

That's not even a reply, it's just clicking the smileys and IMO it's pretty much spam.
ESPECIALLY when that's ALL some people reply with
