As mentioned earlier, and elsewhere.  There are other possible reasons why it flagged up on the HPI checl other than the fact that it is still under a Hire Purchase agreement.  Give the guy some slack till its clear whats going on  :oops

this is welshbikers and we work strictly on a kangaroo court model where people are automatically guilty to suit whatever the argument is about.

Another point at the beginning of the thread.  If the person just took a 'loan' out from Blackhorse Finance, then that should not be directly involved with the bike. If it was unsecured, then the bike would have nothing to do with it.

But back to the point...... Perhaps, if we look at this compasionatly. The guy may not have known the ins and outs, and had full intentions of paying the money off with the cash.....

Also he could have been a tw*t............  But who knows. Just glad Chamz got it sorted before anything could have gone wrong.

The way to have approached it would have been to offer to pay the outstanding finance off the bike directly.

Fuzzrr i explained what happened in another thread!!!

Basically Black Horse have given the guy a personal loan and have NO SAY in the bike whatsoever.

HOWEVER they have decided to put a HPI mark on there anyway, which is very naughty of them.  Once the guy found out he phoned them and they should be taking the HP mark off the register by Wednesday so i'll be doing a re-check of the HPI then (thanks Terry at STP)

Black Horse shouldn't be flagging them really, seems a bit naughty of them. :thumb_down

black horse i no are the real baddies at conducting finance business.. fsa had to fine them because they were selling credit cards to under 18 year old i quite sure it was one of our local call centres. :thumb_down
plus added that ppi insurance with out telling the customer quite sure they were fined for that as well  :nono

I think i'm right, both Blunder Road and South Wales Superbikes use Black Horse for their finance deals on bikes.... :scratch
Black Horse did the finance on my old ZZR600...they couldn't even spell my name right FFS....not exactly the best confidence booster, if they can't get that simple matter sorted properly, what else do they bugger up???

Are you going to buy it then?  It looks like a cracking bike for the price. And if the guy is being genuine about whats owing on it and theres no come backs on you when you buy it I cant see a problem.

Not anymore...shaved head now, and a very small thin goatee beard....

I look nothing like Sutcliffe these days........ :innocent
