Wbers Charity Website
« on: July 28, 2011, 11:50:52 AM »
You may recall a few months back we set up a website for the Air Ambulance rideout. Well I said that I hoped to make it bigger and better so I've spent the last few weeks re-jigging it and uploading more content.

It now features up coming events such as the Macmillan and British Heart Foundation rides and also has a section showcasing some of the previous events!

I will of course continue to keep it updated and fresh as and when time allows! This site is there for you guys so I'd welcome any feedback, or if you'd like to organise an event, it can be added to the site.

I used the site for the air ambulance ride and found it very useful. Is it affiliated to this site? Is there a permanent link between the 2 sites?

Cheers snaffle, I'm glad that the site served its purpose. :thumb_up

The site is an extension of this site if you like. What we found was that some threads can become quite lengthly and go off topic quite easily, you know who you are!!! :innocent And that can be quite frustrating if you need to find out the details of an event without having to trawl through pages of posts.

So as I was doing a Web Design course, in which I needed to build a fully fuctioning site and post it to the interweb, I decided that I could do it about the Air Ambulance ride and kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

However, now that the AA ride has passed, I didnt want it just sat there doing nothing so I decided to put details of any charity events that we organise or are participating in. That way it stays current and up to date! :thumbsup

Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!
