Same here! First saw Big J in August 2008. Group rideout to Symonds Yat...  To watch him ride over Llangynidyr into Crickhowell on his KTM was awsome! :thumbsup The guy waited for everyone then would shoot off back to the front.... For a guy his size it was unbelievable what he could do on a bike! We will still be talking about him for many years to come!

Its times like this that i am lost for words, earlier i was told of this sad news and i am deeply shocked by it.

I knew Big J for only a short while, and rode with him just the once, but in that time i felt i had known him all my life and he became a genuine friend.

I send my heart felt sympathy to Christine and  children,

He will be sadly missed by all who knew him,and the biking world has lost a true enthusiast.

Same here Jeff, that was an awesome day out! I remember leaving you guys on the A470 and meeting back up in Abergavenny car park, and I overheard J say "well thats not bad, we didnt lose anyone, except for the guy on the snot coloured bike!" He didnt realise I was behind him and when he turned and I said "er....I am here" he just replied by saying "well it is, it looks like you've sneezed on it!" :rofl Tickled me that! Fortunately though I got the oportunity to meet up with him a few more times after that and we usually bumped into each other up Terry's and had a good natter! :thumb_up

You will be missed Jase mate.

Its no secret to anyone here that me and Jason had our ups and downs, we were at one point very close friends not just with him but his family christine and the kids. He even changed the weekend which he had his kids so we would have them at the same time and be able to spend more time with eachother.
This has taught me a very harsh lesson, Life is too fucking short no matter what happens what is said there is always room to forgive someone and give a hug to those who mean the most.
Let this be a lesson to all of our members I never got to say goodbye to Jason and for that I am truly gutted, I only wish that where he is now he is as happy and friendly as he was when  he was with us and has as many friends as he has here.

Christine you have suffered the biggest loss I could imagine I hope some day you find happiness in your heart, that is what he would have wanted as we all know how much he adores you.

Ill leave with a few pics of the time that I spent with Jason and his family in my life Im sure youll all agrfee they were good times.

RIP Jason some day Ill get to shake your hand and appologise for what went down.

MM
A night in at MM's house opn the Stella

Jasons response after I tried to get his stella off him lol

The night me and pope spent with him in lantrissant making a joke of it as usual

Jason always did love driving my car

This is what Jason thought of the spray job I did on my helmet, he never did mince words did he?

RIP Mate.

I just cant get my head around this!
All I can say what a guy! he lived and breathed bikes and life to the full
Jason will be remembered by us all for as long as we live, he was one of those guys who leaves you with hell of an impression, a true motorcyclist and gentleman to boot, always friendly and helpful to everyone he met

The more I type the more and more gutted I am feeling

Ride free big guy, hope we meet up again some day for another ride out
