I'm truly gutted and was devestated when Dhd told me the bad news. Didn't know J for very long but I hit it off with him straight away. Loved riding with him and i'll miss him terribly. Chris, i'm gutted for you babe but my heart is breaking for Molls.
Sarah's been in tears all afternoon too and she's been talking about BigJ and saying how he always put an arm around her and encouraged her while we were out on the bikes.
I'll miss you mate, ride well, Dead Sheep Mountain will never be the same again.
If you don't mind guys, i'd like to plug this video of the Big J. Please leave a personal comment below the vid. Double click the vid. Thanks all.

Mate I don't know what to put here. I'm sorry I didn't stay out and play on Wednesday.
Thing is after you wore me out with all that knee down practice on Tuesday I was sore and shattered and went home knowing we would be out on the weekend. I should have stayed out like you wanted, but you didn't mind. Even though you travelled down especially.
In case you look back at this forum, and work it out for yourself, it was me that got your wb account when I was at yours eating pizza. I'm sorry, I found it very funny and wished all day yesterday for you to tell me your going to rip my arms off or something highly amusing like that! I'm sorry, I'm sure you will get me back!
I'm going to miss you mate. Iv only known you a year but you've been more of a friend to me than anyone in the biking community. Without you id still be cornering like a girl and scared to enjoy biking. That photo above, king of the mountain. I remember taking it. Was the first day I met you and I remember ed saying, "here comes bigj" and we looked down the valley and saw you tear arsing your way to us. When you got off your bike I remember thinking fuck me your huge! I think my first words to you were, "I see why your called bigj!" You were concerned that day about me breaking in new tyres in the rain, and you didnt even know me, but showed genuine concern for my well being. At the end of the day you replied to my text thanking you for your help and you text me and said iv made a friend for life, something you again said to me yesterday at the cafe.
One of the most caring and enjoyable people iv ever met, a real pleasure to call you my friend and an inspiration to many.
I will really miss you mate, I promise ill get my knee down like you showed me. I won't let you down mate, same road, same corner ill be there and youl see.

"I see why your called bigj!"
Likewise......... My exact same words to him when I met him for the first time a few weeks ago. And like you Rob, saw a genuine guy, who enjoyed what he was doing, with people he could enjoy with..
I was following him through Sennybridge, to Llandovery. Salt encrusted roads, not dry so to speak, and he was power sliding the Vstrom in front of me, chucking up plumes of shit....... It was totally scary to watch, but impressive at the same time.
Like Steve Cardiff said in one of his posts , about watching BigJ go. 'It makes you grow balls'........
Well, I'll never forget it, im sure of that. Its a stand out memory in my biking life...... I was so looking forward to riding with him through the summer months.
Nice bloke, yes, genuine, yes........ F*ckin header!!! Too Right!
My thoughts are with all you guys that have lost a true friend and companion.
Such a shame.
