A very good friend of mine is doing the 24 peaks challenge in aid of Cancer research and also the Welsh Air Ambulance ,this is a little note from him
May i start by saying a big thanks to you in anticipation of your generous pledge toward this needy cause. To all that know me well, you know that i can never resist a challenge, 25 years old or not (ok a little bit older)!!
I am sure that we all know someone whos lives have been affected by cancer at sometime, god knows i seem to have lost many family and friends. Just recentlly i have had news of three family members who are going through this terrible ordeal, so when i saw this opportunity to be able to do something to raise money, however small i had a calling to do it. I am funding the trip entirely out of my own pocket so all donations made reach cancer research without loss.
You who know me well will know that this is not my first charity walk as i completed the three peaks challenge in 2008 raising £960 for cancer research. I would love to top that total this time, so please family and friends dig deep into those pockets and give generously.
