Biker Down
« on: May 12, 2010, 07:09:48 PM »
After all that has gone on on this forum over the last 24hours its all put in perspective when a mate rings you and says I just had an off.

Blademarco has been knocked off his bike by a woman who decided not to even stop and leave him on the side of the road, He is ok and on his way to the hospital, but its funny how adrenaline works, he managed to pick up his mahoosive bike and chase her and stop her so good on you Marco but your gonna feel that tomorrow. :thumbsup

Throbbs you can't beaten stupidity with any amount of training

I've spoken to the injuried solider & he's ok & got off with a few aches & bruises but going to A&E just to be sure

As for South Wales Police I'm im absolutely disgusted that when Marco phone 999 & told them about the hit & run or leaving the scene of an accident incident (call it what you will) they told him all the units are busy & to deal with it himself :shocked

"So erm I've just been knocked off my motorcycle by a car that weights 10 times as much as I do & at speed & I'm suppose to deal with this myself" enough said eh?  :help

He's ok - went down to help out at the scene, and got all parties to swap details. We got pics of damage to both vehicles.

The fact that marco was on the roundabout and got hit by the woman on the rear of his bike when she entered the roundabout is a clear indication that she failed to even look to the right and give way. The damage to both vehicles supports this, so he should have no issues with insurace claim. Damage wise he needs a new light cluster on the rear, and has some scuffs on the side of hs topbox and exhaust can. TBH, the bike is ridable, but has no break or tail light at mo, so is being recovered.

Hes pulled a few muscles I think keeping the mighty beemer from totally hitting the deck
