What a ride
« on: January 08, 2012, 09:47:18 PM »
My mate Lee rang me at 09:45 this morning, out of the blue. Got me out of the pit, and we started the ride at 11:00. Brecon, Builth Wells, Rhyader, Aberystwyth, Heded towards Llandysul then Llandovery, Brecon, back to Caerphilly.
Fabulous roads, scenery, company (Lee), coffee (several). Best of all, last week I rode like Stevie Wonder doing a lap of Mallory on a Fireblade.

Today, I rode like a GOD. Really. Probably, like the GOD of big headed bikers, but in my little world, I did good. Well I think I raised my riding standard to at least below average anyway....

What a ride. What a day. Thanks Lee, I can almost look forward to another week working in the NHS now. :tup2

Bikes. The only way to travel.

Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!

Oh come on Puglsy....... You and your 'Fairy Stories'......

Last week you were posting about Trolls and this week 'Biking Gods'?

Did you meet Saint Columbanus? , or Our Lady of Grace who are the Patron Saints of Bikers.

( Honest..... He is).

Was he riding pillion with you....... Or was he up front this time.......

Can't help it...

I find delusion the best way of avoiding the awful truth...

Perhaps I should go into politics!
