Welsh Water Tourist Board Tour.
« on: April 21, 2011, 09:12:42 PM »
Quick Rideout Report.

On the road early this morning, quick breakfast at Mach and off towards Aberystwyth.
Thought about going to Llanidloes but the road was still closed due to the accident yesterday.
Terrible tragedy,very sad.
 RIP.

After Mach i turned off at Tal y Bont and made my way up towards Nant y Moch Reservoir, never been there before and i'm glad i did, some lovely scenery and not a soul in sight. :thumbsup
Good place for a No2 ,well it is Nant y Moch  :leaving
Anyway back to on the road, the bike wasn't too sure of the roads and turned blue in colour on me for an unknown reason  :scratch  :rofl
Made my way down to Ponterwyd to Devils Bridge and up towards Elan Valley.
Never been here before either, bloomin lakes everywhere.
Quick picnic, pics and down to Rhayader, made my way towards Newbridge on Wye.
Took the turning to Beulah and headed to Llandovery
Beulah road was good enjoyed that. :tup2
After Llandovery had a quick snack at Llanwrda and headed to Lampeter.
Over to Aberaeron had a pitstop, didn't see any bikes, not sure where they park. :oops
Back to Aber and made my way to Mach via Llanidloes.
Thoroughly enjoyed it weather was fab but knackered now.
You have some really nice roads down there and a lot of water, miss the mountains though but look fwd to venture more south next time maybe my bike will turn to green then who knows. :roll_eyes
Some pics.

Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!

Nice rep & pics.

Have to say, those have to rank atop the list of best biking roads in the UK - need to get my sorry ass up there this year with the GSXR.
