hi all , looks like a cracking day out !.....i recognise the route as i have travelled the sarn helen route many times in the past......with bikes and landrovers , all the way from aberdulais falls to brecon, i was told only the first section was open for a few weeks of the year , and the other 2 sections had been closed permanantly , what is the status of sarn helen now ?....can we play without being buggered about by the boys in blue , and walters the land owner ?.....would love to re-aquaint myself with this fantastic trail !

You are right ,the bottom end near Aberdulais is only open for a few months but the remainder is still in question .If you go on to different forums you will have different answers ,The TRF advise you to ride it at your own risk but they will stand up for you in court as there is sufficent evidence to prove it's status. Its not so much the police but the Brecon Beacons National park wardens that are the funny twats ,just drive past them as the only person allowed to stop you legally is a uniformed police officer

Red I'm sure you will  be great ... you let your bike rest between sections, it's only right!  :thumbsup  :tup2
Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!
