todays fun

so the morning brings rain, wind and a bit of snow


so shall we have a lazy morning in bed 


no lets go out and play, I can practice for Iceland and he can practice for the trial next weekend 

so i prepare the packed lunch with loving care while he loads the bikes into the van

so he gets all the fun with the boys in the woods doing whatever boys do in the woods on trial bikes




and i go off on my billy

so shall i wander into the woods - why not


shall i wander over the edge here - oh go on then


now this looks fun, wander what's down there, bet its just mud and water - yep.............


on the plus side he got to give my bike a good wash again............... 
and i managed to stay standing on the pegs almost the whole time

not that hard, we always use legal lanes, you just need a map and a friend who knows 

we where on farmers land, who has allowed the use for a Trial not weekend and in advance of this the club setting up the route and i just played around in the area while the boys had a go at the 3 levels of the route [to make sure its not to easy!!!)

looks like i could end up doing Timpo's end of March ride in the beginners group of course, while Tim goes off and plays with the big boys 

got 3 weeks to myself while he buggers off and does the Trans America Trail with the boys in August, might pinch his van load up my bike and come out and play with you lot  be affraid very affraid

take the kids indoors, clear the roads and the tracks and hide the wine, pack the dear heart off with the boys to America and i'm ready


do you think the south is ready for me 

will need plenty of willing helpers to pick the bike up
