well where do i start. yesterday,
87 boring motorway miles from bridgend to swindon at 9am.... then got out of my leathers and into some more cooler clothes and off to castle coombe for some good racing.
bumped into chamz and pope... was fab to see you both! sorry didnt hang around for long, i did text you but think i got the chinese man again!
today!
was piss wet this morning so sat in and played some COD and watched the moto gp. then made my friend get his gear on as i wanted to go out to play.
we set off towards salisbury, it was still raining a little in places, a fairly heavy shower in salisbury.
the roads were awful! forget the wet and dry patches, they were un cared for, full of pot holes and in a bloody state!
respect to my mate and all the bikers that ride enthusiasticlly in that area. apparantly thats about the only road around worth doing, it was narrow, over corwded and bloody dangerous, but still it was a twisty road!
it made me realise how lucky we are as bikers to have some fantastic roads in wales. not only
because of the twistyness and scenery, but the quality of the surface (even though we do complain about it, its 10000% better than wiltshire)
NYHOOS GOT TO POOLE, had a burger and headed up the ever familiar a350. not so twisty but still had fun.
another 80 odd miles on the motorway on the way back.... only highlight was cwmbran tunnel and the grandprix at the severn crossing.
heres the route we went out today in case your interested.
no pics so it didnt happen
