What a day for the trip , glorious sunshine and you had to keep riding to keep cool.
All   5   left Terry's around 10 and set off via the A470 north for the land of the gods. A sedate ride up with a stop near by to "Rumbles Bend" for a coffee where conversation turned to all those who posted an interest in the run and never turned up.
After a quick potty break at Bala Lake and a fill up in Bala the last leg soon past to arrive at a packed Ponderosa (See Pics).
Nice to meet Red and hubby although her promises of getting in the first round disappeared with the long queue for drinks.
Glorious scenery , marvelous roads and a warm welcome made the trip worthwhile.
DHD put his form of spin into most conversations which was interesting to say the least although his insistence to tell us he was "Prairie dogging" added nothing to the moment.
Our return trip took us down the A5 and A483 through Welshpool , Newtown and a stop at Crossgates to fill up.
I am sure others on the trip will take care of the pleasures of riding behind Fuzzylogic and DHD with myself and Rumble have to chase them on the home leg.  They felt the need to see who could leave the overtake latest and fit in the smallest gap (not an easy task for Fuzzy and his Kawa 1400).

Just short of 280 miles round trip for me but I am sure DHD and Rumble must have gone over 300.
