Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!

Yes it was really nice, bikes not missing a beat, had a short spurt with a gixer up to Blaenau from Betws which was fun.

Photos taken with Sony Xperia mini, pretty impressed with the quality. :tup2
Had it in the washing machine last week for a few mins :roll_eyes and thought o sh*t,managed to dry it out with a hairdryer and seems ok now.
It would be nice to have zoom other than that a great little phone.

Taliban Tour part 2.

Went up to Bala today couldn't resist the lovely weather, probably rain now for months.
Anyway pretty quiet at Bala lake, quick lunch at the lesiure centre and off towards Ruthin via Cerrigydrudion.
At Ruthin i took a mountain road past some wind turbines to get to Llyn Brenig visitor centre for a cuppa,
Set off again towards Pentrefoelas over the Denbigh Moors   :tup2 ,across the A5 through Ysbyty Ifan and down to Ffestiniog.
Back home then to Mach via Trawsfynydd, lovely weather and some great roads.
This concludes the Taliban Route, going to do some Hwntw land raids in the coming months to see what delights you have dwn swth.
Also planning a trip to Norway in June going up to the Lofoten Islands. :tup2

Pics from today.

Bala Lake

Llyn Brenig.

'Taliban Tour part 2.'

Another great route there. :thumb_up

Did you really go up over the moors from Ysbyty via the B4407, the first part of that road is totally shot after the winter - hope they repair it soon as it's a nice ride.

No i came down the moors and through Ysbyty to FFestiniog. :scratch
Road wasn't that bad,a lot of damage but passable,i was running a bit late too much daydreaming at Brenig.
It's not really a road for road bikes ok for my tractor though. :no
