Started out from Asda Caerphilly this morning with my bro about 10:15am and headed up towards Newbridge along the dual carriageways. From there went over to Pontypool and up to Abergavenny! Didnt stop at Abergavenny but joined the A something or other (I'm sure Jason will fill in the road numbers!! Lol) up to Hereford!
Saw a McDonalds so stopped for a cuppa and my bro decided to do a bit of posing in the carpark trying to impress all the single mothers!
Left McD's and headed towards Leominster on the A something or other, and then headed towards Ludlow. Went into Ludlow to find somewhere for a piss. Drove around the town for a bit to see what it was like, saw a castle in the distance which I wouldnt have minded checking out but my bladder weakness won the argument so we stopped at a Tesco.
Very relieved we headed out of Ludlow and headed towards Shrewsbury. About a mile or so out of Ludlow we turned left onto the A something or other towards a place called Knighton. By fuck this was a cracking road!!! Was about 14 miles to Knighton and I enjoyed every little bit of it! Got some fuel in Knighton and after having been bum raped repeatly at the petrol station (think it was 1.44 per litre!!) continued towards Llandrindod Wells! Another 10-12 miles of awesome roads and a chance for a few pics!
Saw signs for Crossgates so headed there for a quick food stop and drink stop. Queue was mahoosive so just went into the petrol station for a sarnie and a drink.
Left there and headed for Builth. Wanted to pick up a road that Pope took me on a few months back but could remember where it was so just followed the A something or other. Was still a good road mind! From Builth headed over the Upper/Lower chapel road into Brecon and then to Terry's for tea and medals!
Got in about 4.15pm so a good a day in the saddle!
