Decided to head out today for a spin as the weather was looking gorgeous
After dropping Chamz off at the airport for her to head to Tenerife (JEALOUS!) I headed back and rang around to see who was out.
Beads was up for a spin as was Barry Island, but Beads was trucking up Birmingham way so met them later.
Ninja_Warrior and Mojo met me at the petrol station to head up to Terry's
Got there a few minutes early and basked in the sun for a bit. it really was gorgeous
Got a call of Mr_Honeysucker to say his 'blade had packed in on the way so he'd managed to get it restarted and headed home.
NinjaWarrior and Mojo turned up and we headed gently up to Terry's
Spotted a marked BMW 5 series estate parked at the top of the hill before you go down over the bridge on the way to Brecon.
He was watching and gave a wave as I headed past, after I nearly did a 70mph stoppie braking from xxxmph
Met Mongo at Terry's and Jason pulled in and after waiting for a bit we headed to Llandovery caff.
I know what you're thinking by now, same old routes etc bla bla bla
BUT the roads were in fab condition, it's a lovely route and I enjoy riding it. so there!
Mongo stopped for a quick piss at SennyBridge, which must have helped as he was then on it for the rest of the route.
Struggled to lose him which ain't bad considering he was on a supermongo
Also had a bimble with a Fiat Panda for a corner or two
Got to the caff, and waited for a bit before Barryisland and Beads turned up. Also saw Hamster there too.
Then we headed back to Terry's.
Got held up by a copper doing a bikesafe just before Terry's. As tempting as it was to pass him we stayed behind for 2 minutes.
Terry's again then home.
Also spotted Rumble at Terry's and Mossy rolled in as we were leaving
my bike has no sidestand so I had to prop it up against the bank and got stuck in the mud trying to leave
Mud all over the tyre hampered the pace on the way home. Wouldn't be fun having an xxxmph rear end slide due to mud
first day of Summer I reckon
