Sunday 11th July
« on: July 11, 2010, 07:56:50 PM »
Well all plans to go to poole got scrapped pretty early on.....  :thumb_down

Anyways, watched the F1 and decided to go scrub my new rear tyre in.

Headed from mine, along the ogmore road, st athans - barry. Got there and a band were playing, the salvation army i think, was on my tod so didnt hang around that long.

Graham called me back, (forget his name on here) and we arranged to meet at andy's cafe in bonvilston.

As i came off 5 mile lane, turned left i squeezed the throttle, and old bill were sat their starring at me, didnt get pulled, had a nice friendly wave!

Had a brew at andy's then went on to margahm, and passed the golf course to porthcawl, had another brew and went home.

didnt go too far, wanted to re-familiarise myself with biking, had smashing fun, and tyre well on its way to be worn in.

got some photos, will do my best to get them up
Jason Palmer - BIGJ - you are already greatly missed, RIP friend.

Glad to hear you're back in the saddle Rob
Sorry I couldn't join you today.

Did 120 miles from Cardiff to Pembrey and back down the M4  :zzz :zzz

Not only did I pay £12 to get into Pembrey (Rip off!) to watch my mate Phil racing, as soon as I get there he breaks down so no racing to bother watching.
Another trudge back up the M4  :thumb_down

it wouldn't have been much of a race if he was the only one racing
