Sunday (today)

Cracking ride today  :thumbsup

Met up with the gang at Pontypool mcdonalds there was a good turnout about 7 or 8 by my counting.
Won't name everyone as I know i'll leave someone out as usual  :scratch

Headed from there up to Craven Arms with Tankslappa leading the way on his lovely shiny new RSV4  :drool

Bit of a straight road up to there but left all the good roads ahead of us on the way back  :clap

Then from Craven arms across to Newtown criss crossing the border a few times.

By this point we'd lost MrNiceGuyWales on the repsol blade  :scratch
No idea where you went mate hope all was ok  :tup2

Then down the Newtown road which I reckon is the best in Wales if not the UK  :scooter
Stopped at Crossgates for a bit then we headed back down the 470 to Terrys

Lost EdClark and GSXRob but they met us back at Terry's
Was good to have a nice brisk spin really had a good day.
Spent a fortune in petrol though  :eek

Then I left Terry's about a minute after Wedge and saw him just before the long bridge going down towards the heads of the valleys.
Some absolute COCK on a shitty old FZR1000 F reg then decided to try passing us both and damn nearly took off my knee slider he was so close  :handjob
Pulled up next to him and Wedge at the junction and Wedge was shaking his head obviously thinking the same as me
TOSSER  :handjob
I followed him up the A470 for a bit and watched him on the roundabouts.  Nothing short of dangerous so I got bored eventually and passed him (on the back wheel for comedy effect)
I've got nothing against someone trying their luck, but this guy will be dead very soon no doubt about it.
Lacking any road skill, I'd be suprised if he had a license.
So if you're reading this F reg FZR1000 owner, you are a cock and I wiped the floor with you.
Since you were so desperate for a race you got one and had your arse handed to you. Do yourself a favour and stick your shitbox of a bike in a wall before you hurt someone else

Then just before getting to the Nelson roundabout on the way back up the A470 got flagged down by Police  :eek :eek :eek :eek

I thought it was a roadblock but turned out someone on a GSX1400 (blue and white) had stuck it in the barrier on the last long left hander  :scratch

Hope he's ok and he seemed to be and conscious from what I could see as we passed.
I'm guessing he lost it for some reason and probably excess speed.  A few idiots about today but that's sunny Sundays I suppose

On the whole a top day good company

Rob has some pics I think  :tup2
Cheers for the go on your gixxer too  :tup2

Great weather, great roads, great company. Pace was swift, very swift.   :tup2

Baffles are out, should be able to compete on the noise front now.  :clap

Best laugh of the day, was watching Pope wheelie at over 90mph passed a couple of GSXR guys stood in a lay bay. Their reaction was priceless.  :sma

Pleased to hear someone spotted niceguywales and he is not still laying in a hedge waiting for us to comeback.  :oops

Normally I shrug it off, have a little laugh to myself and then bugger off.

But this knob was consistently riding like a cock.  I'd love to find out who it was  :handjob

If I didn't get them out now, I would never have bothered.

Need to warn the neighbours to keep their children, cats and dogs indoors. :eek

Sounds like a proper bike now.  :clap

Ask niceguywales if he has any pictures of his rideout. :scratch

Great ride today lads. I am supposed to be running this thing in you know  :thumbsup

Apologies for the hard slog up to Craven, but I feel getting the hard bit over and done with as soon as you can leaves you with Mid Wales to play with for the rest of the day. I'm normally there by 9  :cool

Chicken strips are now nuked :2guns

Was a cracking day out fair play, if rather terrifying on me rather cooked tyres  :rofl

Neil, that RSV4 is fooking stunning mate!  :tup2

Yeah that guy on the FZR was a right cunt fair play.  Very nearly took my wing mirror off while I was over taking a bunch of cars -.-

Tell ya one thing, its fooking hard work keeping pace with a group of quick guys when passing traffic and stuff on a quick road on my little bike.  Need summut quicker soon  :scooter

I was wondering what that was. I had to nurse the bike down to Merthyr as the fuel light came on just as I left Terry's ( :eek )so got there a bit later than you lot.

I saw the scrape marks along the road and there was a load of dirt from the central reservation. Bike and rider were gone by the time I got there, they were cleaning up. Hope he's okay, that can be a quick corner.
