slow local bimble
« on: January 02, 2012, 05:16:11 PM »
Very slow bimble

Got up  8.30 am, went back to bed, shall I shan’t I?  Looked out… looked foul, then brightened up, so made the leap and got out by 11.00 am.

Slow and steady to Brecon, very wet roads but not too much spray.
Turned off at Erwood, heading towards Builth, and took several `evidence` photos, straddling the bike on the bridge.  Stopped around the corner too, for you lot, to see the diesel loco by the art café.

Onwards nicely,  great scenery, weather brightening slightly.  Turned towards Hundred House (A481) and the A44. Stopped (for you lot) to see the beautiful scenery overlooking the Cambrian Mts (or wotever)  it was very windy and cold, but I suffered for ewe.  Back on the bike around the even better scenery of the bends,  just as the sun came out again.  (fab area that!)

Not many bikes in Cross Gates, just continued through, towards Llandrindod and Newbridge.  Stopped again, for you lot, at the junction towards Beulah, took loadsa pics and even stopped on that fab road so u could see it, at one position straddling the bike on a hill, gripping sensuously with thighs, injin still running… phew.

Did that same thing again on top the mountain to upper chapel, over the firing range,.. bike nearly went in the strong wind, and it started hail stoning …. I was beginning to regret coming back this hard way, but I had to suffer for my art.  But it soon cleared and I was in Brecon and on my way home         :   )

Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!

I was on the mountain road you turn off on the right after terrys and the lakes, went over a brow of the hill and thought the roads looked white but thought it was the sun shining on the wet road but it was covered in hail and did feel a little slippery but got through it, very wet at times today and cold but fantastic  :thumbsup
