Not realy a ride out report (sigh)
« on: September 02, 2011, 09:56:24 PM »
:old    Well, I don't ride my bike nearly as often nor as for as I would like, spend most of my time looking after my wife and the rest of it looking after me.   I do get out and enjoy my bike but its mostly around Cardiff with the occasional foray to Bridgend or Porthcawl, (Mrs Stig makes a lovely cuppa    :thumb_up )
Today was a busy day for me.   Went to a church service for the wife of an old friend, hospital visit for myself, then into Cardiff centre to pay some bills.   Although there were important reasons to be out and about I took the opportunity to use the bike, much quicker, easier, (and cheaper), to park and above all, much more fun than a car.
I read all your ride out reports with interest and envy all of you guys who have the really far flung ride outs but my little rides around are probably the greatest pleasure I get  and I suspect I enjoy my time on the bike as much as you all do.
Keep sending in your reports and just think of pleasure us stay at homes get from readinf them.     :thumbsup

It doesn't matter where or when you ride mate, it's that you ride full stop.

That might be everyday or once a year plus you still have welsh bikers & it's family to switch on to while your in the house.

What a very nice and genuine person you sound.
Continue to take all the pleasure you can from your short merry rides and we're happy to here that you say enjoy them as much as you do.   :group_hug   :tup2
Yes, everyone else maybe melting to death on the roads but not us! Because we have a car with hair conditioner! I mean what in the name of sanity did they think we want it for? To make sure that the roof rack is more shiny and managable?

Shouldnt this be in the OAP section?

Just kiddin, everyone rides as often as they can and at the pace that best suits them. The best part of the ride is knowing you have enjoyed yourself and made it back in one piece and are able to ride again.

Most bike crashes are the cause of women drivers.

If you own a women please take you responsibilties seriously, they are not just for xmas  :tt

:old   OAP section?   Sounds like a good idea, I mean, there's a womens only section and that's surely not right,   after all, a womans place is in the kitchen isn't it?
