Northern exposure part 4
« on: July 13, 2010, 12:20:06 AM »

After a rest and a bite to eat, I fancied getting some more miles in. My companions gave it a miss so I set off towards the A85 and Oban. Yet another fantastic twisty road, almost dry by now and not much in the way of traffic at 6pm. The roads that I went on in this area have lots of hooning potential but the surfaces are just a bit uneven and any off-road excursions are likely to be severely punished by the landscape so the risk-o-meter was always dialled just that little bit down compared to what is normally the case.
Oban looked OK but I only stopped to take a couple of shots as there were places to go and bends still to be found and explored
