Name some interesting places I can visit then in UK just for the weekend, Ive run out of ideas now

Yes I would defo go back to Scotland again one day absolutely loved it and just think how amazing it would be with glorious weather as well, oh yes of course you've already had The pleasure of that haven't you lol

Yep it was glorious weather too the first time with the wife.. .. Its like a different world then when its raining.

Scotland is more a long weekend, 6hrs to edinburgh by motorway, you'll need time to recover.

I'm guilty of doing the lorry thing, sometimes it works others it buffets you around like crazy. I'm also guilty of middle lane hogging, along the side of a lorry to get over the seven bridge.

with 2 stops 20 mins  it took us from barry 8  hours to get to Edinburgh  in the eary hours of the morning but a nice run
this was in the car
