Moto GP, Rugby and a few lanes
« on: October 23, 2011, 07:43:36 PM »
Had a little sleep in (for me) then as turned the telly on to watch the moto GP. Don’t usually watch on BBC 2 as rather the commentary on euro sport, but they had the race live and we were planning on going out.

Well you know the result of the GP so not a great start to the morning, carried on by watching the rugby, I shed a tear for France, not that I was bothered they lost but because they looked so sad and upset  :group_hug

So I pulled myself together and cooked Tim a hearty breakfast to set him up for the rest of the day and then sent him off to get the bikes out for a few lanes.  :thumbsup

I did some new ones but the usual route we do, we did in reverse   :eek

I did my share of the gates today  :nails

And upset the rambler’s just by being about, busy today with walkers, rambler’s and push bikes and then the odd slow car on the roads  :taz

And then the wind made it a bit scary in exposed places  :help

And now he tell’s me I need more aggressive tyres – so that’s on his jobs list  :tap

Had great fun, was all going well until the very muddy, slippy and scary lane and the bike went over but I’m glad to say I didn’t and having such long legs helped but then I was stuck in the mud and couldn’t move without a helping hand from the dear heart  :tt

Lacking photo evidence today as I managed to keep up with him and when I was in front he managed to keep up with me………… so just pics when we took a fag break

And of course the bike washing at the end of the ride, and I pointed out the bits he had missed  :nails

does my bum look big in this.....

Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!
