Had a cracking day out today

Met RichyB at Terrys around middayish. Had a cuppa and it started spitting rain to we headed off toward Chepstow area.
Took the A40 down to Bwlch where we turned off and headed down into Llangynidr and then up over the top to drop back down onto the heads of the valleys. From there we headed up overGarn-yr-erw and dropped down into Blaenavon and carried on through to Pontypool. Popped in to see Terry at STP, and had a nice cuppa and a tour of the shop. Cheers Terry

Headed off from STP and grabbed some go go juice from Tesco, then proceeded toward Usk. On the dualies out of Ponty, I pull out to pass a 4x4 towing a caravan. Just before I get alongside him, the twat decides he's going to change lanes, and does so with no indication or warning whatsoever

. Jam the anchors on and manage to not rear end him, and give him the single fingered salute as I go past. Woulda lost his wing mirror if I had thought about it at the time

Anyways, we have a cracking run down to Chepstow, and then take the next B road back up to Monmouth, which was also awesome! Lot of traffic about today though, kinda kept us from getting into a nice rythm.
I knew from Fridays ride that the Skenfrith road has been fucked over by the council, so we found the B4233 to Abergavenny through Rockfield. Another properly cracking road! Surface wasn't the best, but the road was so tight and twisty you weren't really going that fast for it to matter. All too soon though we had ran out of tarmac and found ourselves having a can of coke and a chin wag in Abergavenny bus stop to finish the day.
Trekked home back over the keepers and into Brynmawr after that.
All in all, was a brilliant day - really enjoyed meself

Rubbish picture, but
