Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!

Brecon / Llandovery getting far too popular on Sundays. All sorts of idiots travelling on it.
Crashes most weeks so I am not surprised there is a heavy police presence.

Today I went from Llandeilo to Aberystwyth & return after doing 60 mile cycle race along Devil's bridge area.

Many sensible bikers about enjoying nice roads.

Getting the hang of ST1300 a bit more today.

I think that the days of the A40 GP (Brecon - Llandovery), have long gone... unless you get a VERY early start in before plod (ahh, bless 'em) and the idiots take over.

Plenty more amazing roads close by however... just DON'T publicise any of the jewels on here... else we'll have an OTT Plod presence on every enjoyable bike route this side of Tripoli before Autumn arrives - all in the name of road safety, of course!

Whilst there are continuing accidents with motorbikes im confident the South Wales Police will gradually increase there presence along all the popular biking routes.

The problem isn't speed, although im sure this is one of the main hit points on their list.

On one hand, its like playing a game of cat and mouse. However, knowing there is a police presence will surely make bikers more conscious what they are doing, and hopefully prevent more accidents.

On the other, I can see how the days of old are further into the distance.

Jason Palmer - BIGJ - you are already greatly missed, RIP friend.
