Hollywood comes to Terry's burger van

Fab ride out yesterday with Wedge and Pingu and Bean455  :cheers

Started off at STP motorsport in Pontypool, Wedge slept in so I woke him up with a text and he turned up about half hour later, lazy shit  :rofl
Took the GSX R down for its MOT so while that was being done Terry suggested we do a quick recce of the route for Saturdays' demo rides for their open day.

I was given the F4 (can't complain)  :thumbsup, terry took the Brutale 1090 and Wedge had a GSXR600
Definitely suited him  :innocent

The route is a cracker and anyone who's out for a demo ride on Saturday is in for a treat  :cheers

Back from there after a slight fuel issue  :innocent and we spot Pingu in the shop so we head off (wedge me and pingu) for a spin up to Terry's for some munch  :popcorn

Not sure of the exact route but we leave pontypool and go over a small bridge towards Llangynidr? then we pop out at Bwlch on the other side of Brecon.
Really nice roads.

We get to Terrys and I thought Jippos had invaded the top layby as I could see a shitload of what looked like caravans and trailers!  :eek

and there were quite a few 70's cars in Terrys carpark too

After a bit of questioning we found out Jason Statham and Robert DeNiro were filming a scene there for their new film  :eek
We sat on the grass bank for a bit before the police moved us on, so we went up a bit parked in the layby and did some climbing to get a better view

In the end we waited up there for about an hour without so much as a single spotting of a celebrity  :thumb_down

We did watch the police shut the road off while they did a scene where an old BMW pulled away and a really crappy beige car (pictured above) tried to make the climb from Terrys but pulled in.  Didn't sound good  :eek

Then we said bye to Pingu and headed back over dead sheep mountain (there were 4 or 5 on the road along with a pack of birds eating one of them).......

Back through Aberdare and to the Tiki bar.
Top day  :cheers

Did then say what film it was?

someone mentioned the name but I've forgotten it....

when it comes out it should be quite big if De-niro and Statham are in it.
From the looks of it things are set in the 70's or 80's as they cleared the whole scenery of anything apart from their cars

Even Terry's van had new signs put on the side of it.
they also put up a fake sign saying "Hereford 8 miles" opposite the burgervan on the grass.
I'll keep an eye out see if I can see anything about it
