Over a hundred bikes turned out on monday and good variety of bikes, one was an 1927 Ariel

The route was from Llanuwchyllyn to FFestiniog via Dolgellau and then back to Bala.
The rally itself went well but the pace was a bit slow

I'm used to 4 wheel rallys were it's flat out from the start

, things started to quicken after the stop at Ffestiniog and very good pace on the mountain road to Bala.

Anyway a very good day nice weather and great rally.

I'll have to remember to pack a picnic next year.

Since the nice weather is coming to an end

and i'm going back to work soon i decided on another trip south, not much sightseeing this time.
Route was from Mach down to Tregaron,Lampeter Llandovery Defynog, thought i would pop over to Terrys for a paned, quick chat with the gentleman in question very nice chap, been there 22 years all year round

,thinks the world of bikers.
Back on the road again and made my way down towards Swansea via Sennybridge and Penycae.
Was planning on a quick visit to M an P too look for a new lid,my Shoei is now 10 years old

so was hoping to get a new one.
Yes i know it naughty but i have another AGV but it's shit.
By the time i got there and managed to find the blooming place it was a very quick visit indeed, shop was closing in 15 mins,no worries though the staff were very helpfull and they did not rush to get me out,bit dissapointed though they did not have my size and colour, nevermind it was good to try on some of the new helmets on.

Up the road again and i thought i better start thinking of finding a bed for the night

,somebody mentioned the Ancient Briton on here as a biker friendly so i headed in that direction.
Got to the pub but no vacancies

,not to worry found a B and B near by just the job.
Next morning with a bit of a thick head, long story headed for Brecon, quick lunch headed twds Builth via Chapel up and down, excellent road but was taking it easy as my mind was not in synch today

and then up the A470 back home.Yes.
Outside Tregaron

Somewhere near Llandovery

Didn't know you had Mountains down there?

Why did everyone leave when i arrived, must remember to switch off my blue light
