Good ride (got lost a few times!)
« on: October 05, 2010, 09:38:29 PM »
headed out at 11.15 hoping the weather will hold up. So got to terrys bout 20mins later. stopped for a cuppa
an had a little chat with keith, check if he'd seen any scamera vans pass this mornin, he said normally sees
them but not so far today. :thumb_up

so i go down the a470 left onto a4216 towards defynnog then wrong turnin onto a4067  :no lol woops

stayed on there all the way to ynysforgan (swansea valley!) then up b4603 pontardawe  then on the a474
aiming for brynaman but missed turning again  :banghead (im worse than pingu i reckon)

turned around just before ammanford then left onto a4069 through brynamman (mountain rd). WOW what a road bit scary as the road was still wet. Some bum clenchin hairpin bends. :eek

That spat me out in llangadog, stayed on the a4069 til llandovery. Then on the a40.

Missed turning in sennybridge (see a patern amerging?) realised my mistake when i got to abercamlais!  :oops
turned around again an headed for defynnog and the a4215, BUT guess what, missed turning again lol
Didnt realise til i hit the grys arms (i think thats what its called?)

Turned around an headed back to defynnog then onto a4215. Woohoo no more wrongs really possible from
here..  :old

get on to the a470 and hit a bit of traffic so worked my way through at a steady speed (honest guvnr)
and someone in a clio comin towards me is flashin his headlights, so i pull in an slow down, get around
the corner an sure enough theres a cop car hidden in the bush. Thank you clio driver.  :clap

Pulled in at terrys for a cuppa and a burger at 3.30. bit of a long ride due to wrong turnings.  :fishing

Had a fab day. weather held off all day, most roads were dry, hardly any traffic..What more could u ask for.  :sma
