Going out
As opposed to NOT going out (last post)
Got out well before midday (11.30?) and headed for Leominster way.
Very misty over the Beacons, visor misted up, poor viz.
As soon as I get to Brecon it clears like magic (these old town builders knew a thing or two) .. and it’s a clear open road through towards Herefordshire. Great scenery, took a loada pics, but just post a few.
Turned to Knighton, for a change … fab fab roads there!! … open clear, not much traffic. Get to knighton and there’s traffic everywhere… 7 bikes (3 off roaders) and loadsa cars trying to get petrol, in one little station. I get outa there fast and stop later in a clearer place, towards Penybont.
Passed the Hundred House INN ?? ….mmmm … thought that was on the A481… but that is Hundred House??
Took loadsa pics, ate crisps and kitkat. Waved to loadsa bikers passing, and on my way again, towards A44, Rhyader, then A 470 …. Great great roads!
Stopped for sausage sarni near Brecon .. oh… and a biker’s cuppa tea, large … and then home.
