Elan Valley 5th July
« on: July 05, 2010, 09:49:25 PM »
As me and the wife both had the day off I decided to take her on a little mystery tour  :scratch
Started off at half 1 making our way up to the A470 to Brecon, Terrys was deserted so decided not to stop, taking into consideration I had my wife riding pillion I thought it best to take it easy  :scooter so we bypassed the road to upper and lower chapel and went along the Brecon Bypass eventually getting to builth wells where we stopped at the Little Chef for a quick fag  :thumbsup
Off we went then on up to Elan Valley, after taking a wrong turn  :shocked :eek :oops not like me I know  :fishing we got to the visitors centre  :thumbsup quite a few bikes there but not off here I don't think
Wife was happy so all was good  :rofl popped into the cafe for something to eat and drink and then started the journey home
Seeing as my wife was happy I decided to take the upper and lower chapel road back  :help prob not one of my best ideas, hit a brick causing a little loss of balance and then very nearly left my wife behind when I got a bit close to a railing  :oops  :rofl :rofl in the doghouse for a while  :rofl
She calmed down tho and after a quick stop we made our way to Terrys only to discover we'd been out so long he'd packed up and gone home  :banghead  :rofl
So we just carried on home getting in at about 7pm  :clap :clap
all in all a good day out  :thumbsup  :clap
