Devil's Staircase

There have been a few posts about the road called the Devil's Staircase near the Mid Wales village of Abergwesyn.

Here is a short clip of a run we did over there  recently. 

The camera is fitted over the right hand mirror, on a Kawasaki GTR 1400.  The bike ahead is a Honda CBF 600.

The purpose of the video is not to show any particular skills as such, but just to give you an idea of what fantastic roads we have around here.

I am pretty sure thats the road that goes to Llynbrianne res????, I took my other half down that road but from the other direction, she hates tight turns, I was on stop cock for a week

  Nice weather there, better than it was when I went on there last year, it was a bit wet to say the least but great roads and views.

That road came out by Tregaron didn't it, the one I went on did

From where the Video ends the road drops steeply down hill to a fork in the road.  Bear left and it takes you to Llyn Brianne and on to Llandovery.  Bear right and it drops into the square at Tregaron.  Turn right in the square and then on to Devil's Bridge and Aberystwyth.

All fab roads.  Not especially fast but great to ride.

From where the video starts there is a log cabin tea rooms and visitor centre but I've never been there at the right time to find it open.... but it looks ok from outside!!
