Chilly round the Willy.
« on: April 25, 2011, 11:00:54 PM »

Well it was a bit this morning when i started off this but soon warmed up after a big breakfast at the Maengwyn Cafe at Mach, highly recommended and biker friendly.
I wasn't too sure on todays journey but wanted to conclude the Welsh Water Tourist trail and headed for Llyn Brianne in the hope of seeing some kayaking.

So off i went and headed for Tregaron via Trawsgoed and Pontrhydyfendigaid.
Climbed up from Tegaron and through the Devils Staircase  :eek, sometimes i think
i have the wrong bike for these jolly jaunts. :roll_eyes
Anyway managed to stay on the bike and eventually found my target.
but was i in for a suprise, some  :handjob had turned the water off :no.
Bloomin spoilsports  :thumb_down
Feeling dejected i headed for Llandovery,i soon left the dissapointment behind with a nice brisk pace down the valley.
Stopped off at the West End Cafe for a cuppa, nice atmosphere a lot of Harleys and one £16,000 BMW,very nice.
On the road again and headed for Camarthen and up to New Quay.
Quick stop walking on the beaches looking at the peaches  :nono, lot of people around not really my scene and off i go again up to Aberystwyth.
Stopped off at the Prom and back home.

Was a nice spin, some new and interesting roads, not many good pics, wasn't really on song after yesterdays bad news about the 2 bikes at Trawsfynydd, anyway life goes on but sometimes it slows down.
Stay safe.

 :thumbsup GREAT !!
Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!
