Camping
« on: June 01, 2011, 06:22:18 PM »
Last weekend (27th May) me and the mrs decided to go camping on the bikes to Caerfai, near St. Davids...

The weather on the friday was gorgeous, so we took the heads of the valleys A465 down to Swansea where we picked up the A48 to head out west.  The roads as we left carmarthen just got better and better, with beautiful scenery and warm tarmac we were living the dream....

Had a shit night's sleep as it turned cold and windy over night, so headed back east...

The ride home was wet and dreary but I loved every minute of it.
This will without a doubt become one of my fondest memorys associated with bikes....
And the mrs rode awesome, she'll be putting me to shame soon

Anyway, here comes the best part.... pic's:

Broad Haven, lovely place. West is best.
Try the roads from there , through St Davids, Fishguard & up to Aberystwyth.

I can see Newgale there-nice.  No sign of Broadhaven though.
If it hangs - pull it!

Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!
