Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!

Nice Vid Arron.  :thumb_up

I Have Been Playing With Different Mounts.
Had varied results but has to say I love these little GOPRO Camera's

Clip bellow is done with suction mount on tank @ 720p then speed have been doubled for effect.

Before anyone say yes I know ugly fucker if I had set it up for spot metering though you would have seen more detail and wouldn't sleep tonight.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.

Excellent quality video.......... :tup2

Do you have anymore front facing shot's ie down by the front wheel. Infact if you have anymore post them up. As I have said before been looking at these for a while, and the more I see the better.

Also someone mentioned "Processor speed" Not being the greatest with the laptop, what would be the minimum processor speed likely be for running on the laptop.

Thanks

It was running at the highest HD resolution and 60fps. took a fookin age to do anything with because of the size of the file, and i was running that on quite a large Mac!

It does look very good on a tv though at full hd.

i mounted it on my mirror stalk. was a little concerned it may be a little bit wobbly but there's some sort of built in image stabaliser which sorts this out.

i also had it facing backwards on the mirror which i'll try and load later if i can sort the compression out.  :rofl

Here is a short clip front facing mounted just in front of the right wing mirror.
And another where some blind cager tried to kill me.

I edit with windows live movie maker its free from microsoft and although not as feature packed as the ones you pay for its perfectly OK.

I run a PC with a duel core processor both @ 2.50GHz and 4GB ram. Windows 7 OS 32 bit basically a basic PC.

You don't need expensive equipment to produce good video from the GOPRO HD it really is a good bit of kit.

If your running a MAC have a look if Corel Video Studio Pro is available its well worth the money.

I mostly shoot at 720p to save memory until I get a bigger card but the one shot facing me was @ 1080p and there is a difference in quality but not that much on you tube.

Last but not least the gopro is well worth the money and if you use Windows Movie Maker you can upload direct to You Tube from the program and it seems to do a fair job.

rear facing mounted on mirror stalk.

last part of the vid is along a very bumpy cobble mews and footage isn't too wobbly. not many roads around that are that bad!!

i downloaded a free video editor VideoPad video editor onto my pc. it's much easier working with smaller files obviously. i also deleted the sound from this file to reduce the size further.

I use a 16gb class 4 sd card ,running the GoPro on R3 which is 720p ,i can get two and a half hours on the card and thats how long the battery will last .
It takes roughly 45 mins to render a 8 min video once you have done the editing and another 45 mins to upload to the web

Here is a video of the settings i use .

Watch in full screen and in HD ,the video's are slightly compressed when uploaded on the web ,but still very good quality
