Had a little spin to Bridgend from Treorchy; to go the a motorcycle shop to get my service book stamped, Did not take my big scooter because In 13 days time I am taking Manual Module 2 test, on my 125 Yammie.. so skinny tyres easy to skid when braking not ideal but I bought it to pass the test.
Never liked that road in the wet so that didnot help.
There comes a point where you go along all the little cottages to the left cars parked on the left hand side and you have to watch oncoming traffic,
when you leave that row of cottages there are a few larger modern bungalows? on the left on the bend and your descending towards the roundabout where you have to turn left towards the bridgend..
This little stretch of road is loose surface tarmic, it has skid warnings on it, so the council is very aware of how dangerous it must be. As its descending and following out of a bend etc.. its absolutely lethal for a small bike I wouldnot recommend any learners or any biker on that stretch of road, in reverse going back along the same route.
So your climbing up with all these loose chippings (why the hell did they leave the road like that it was never like it!) and there is a river flowing down this road, double whammy I thought it would be easier uphil... WRONG, THE WATER is another hazard..
So anyone fancy a nice fast run in the Valleys... thats one road you want to skip!

Pleased to say I didnot skid but I did Sh*t bricks trying to slow my bike down to even standstill point on descent as the slightest brake was skidding the bike. I used my gears and prayed..
A road shouldnot be like that what do we pay our rates for???? Im not that familiar with town and streetnames there if any one can give me the exact location of it.. tell me. Ill go and complain about it..
