busy weekend

hit the road on the White One on Saturday morning at 8.30 to go to the Stafford Classic Bike show. while the sun was out the 3 layers of clothes as well as jacket I was wearing was not warm enough.

arrived around 10ish and as the day went on removed said layers of clothes as it was roasting

looked round all the old stuff - i mean wonderful bikes...........

aah what a blast from my past all those bikes from the 80's and some even older. forgot the camera so no pics to show you 

but some of those bikes are fetching mega money these days, then of course we had to stand an listen while selected bikes started and the nuts revved off them - i really do think its a boy thing

anyway a cracking day out and stopped for refreshments at the in-laws on the way home, by which time it was dark, but my lights light up the road for about 5 miles ahead. not saying they are bright but.....

then after a little lie in on Sunday morning it was time to take the Blue One out to play. Tim says now I have arranged to go out and play with the big boys (Jasext) i have to get some practice in. well i was out all day, the Blue One had just the one hissy fit and threw itself on the ground - you should see the bruise I have on my leg

i did well all things considered, but apparently there is a system for opening and closing gates  I got confused and thought Tim did it all because he's a gentleman. I'm informed that i should be doing my share 

again no photo's thought i had forgotten my camera again, turns out it was in my backpack for the weekend 
had a great day, spent all day doing more lanes than we usually do and I'm almost a novice
