Headed out from home at about 11am no fixed destination.
Went across the top of Merthyr Mountain heading for Pontstic reservoir, one of my all time favourite roads on a chilled ride, stopped here for a fag and a pic :
Carried on along the road heading for Talybont reservoir, got to the highest point of this road :

Wen through Talybont village and onto the A40 dual carriageway up as far as the turning for Llangorse lake, turned off and headed up through the lanes and came across this little fella strutting his stuff :

Ended up coming out in Brecon so got on the A40 for Llandovery, mad blast to get there.
On arrival i thought it was KTM day as there was an RC8, another 9fiddy sm and two 690 sm's
Didnt see anyone i knew there, had a coffee and a fag and left to head for Crossgates via Beulah.
Nice gentle ride for most of it
Got to Crossgates and then the KTM forum adventure boys pulled in :
Said hello then left when they went in for food.
Headed down teh 483 to Builth and onto the a470, bit of a mad one going down here
Pulled off at Erwood for a fag :

Went further into the lanes and spied a nice offroad trail, good fun with a pilot road on the back
Decided id had enough offroading when i ended up stuck unable to get traction to go any further so turned around and headed for home.
Stopped at Terrys, had a fag, saw no-one i knew so carried on home and got in around 3pm, lovely little run would have bee better with a pillion or someone else with me to enjoy the scenery i went through
