Aberystwyth
« on: April 26, 2011, 10:00:18 AM »
Took a ride up to aberystwyth on saturday with 2 of my mates from cardiff.

I never realised what fantastic roads are on our doorstep! :eek

Anyway here's our route:

Took the easy way up, basically the A470.
It was roasting hot up until rhayader, where it gradually got colder, greasier and wetter towards aberystwyth. Like a different world it was!

Had a quick cuppa and then set back off towards llandovery via tregarron and lampeter. The weather took a turn for the better about 5 miles outside of lampeter and it was great to be on dry tarmac :thumbsup

Had a stop in llandovery where i saw DaveP and Tracy :cya
Also saw loads of bike exotica, including this Desmo  :drool

All in all i had a great day with a few scary moments :shocked

Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!
