A break from the Races
« on: July 12, 2011, 06:39:19 AM »
Made a visit to Aberdare Park on Saturday for the races and had an excellent day out and an excellent night at Cwmdare Club , far too Many bevys.
Anyway , decided to take a spin on Sunday and make the most of the good weather, how wrong I was.  Made it to Terry's with no Fuzzylogic as he has had some bad news so carried on to Llandovery for lunch and an excellent carvery. Set off for Llyn Brianne and as we got there the spots started and we set off over the top to Llanwrytd Wells when the heavens opened. I had a waterproof top on the back but the rest of me and my missus was soaking. Once back on the main road back to Llandovery for tea and cake with a soggy bottom and squelching feet. Not comfortable enough to go any further so headed home where it was nice and dry.  Wished I'd gone to The Park

Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!
