Started off just after 11.00 and headed in to Mach,my plan was to go up to the pond via Bala and a visit to A and D Denbigh for some new winter gloves.
Plan A quickly got shelved for plan b,it started raining at mach so i headed east.
The nice lady on s4c weather said last night it should be dry in the east and she was spot on.

So off i went towards Mallwyd on the A470 and turned onto the Welshpool road.
Carried on until i got to Llanfair Caereinion, quick pit stop and decided to take a new road to me via Tregynon and headed for Newtown.
Pretty twisty road, good surface and a few hairpin bends to keep the mind busy.
Got to Newtown for a quick cuppa, and on to the Cross Gates road.
Road was dry so had a fab time,it's got to be one of the best there is.
Done it twice now going south and getting to know it a little bit better.
Might try it in the other direction next time.
Anyway here is a question?
How long does it take to get to know a road, 1-5,5-10 or more?
My experience would be over 10 times to get really comortable.
Back on topic, got to Cross Gates and had a full breakfast yum yum, good place to stop i must say.
The sun came out and was really nice to sit outside but no other bikes there, where is everyone?
Headed back to civilisation too close to the border for me there

and went through Rhayader and on to Llanidloes over the mountain and back home to Mach.
Really enjoyable day very quite on the roads, the way i like it

There was a scammer just outside Cross gates but a nice farmer gave me a nice wave before i got to him.
