I can't remember it was online somewhere

It can be just bad habits though surely :scratch
is that "can " or "can't"
you have only got to read some of the posts on this forum to realise that people do fall into bad habits quite easily.
and of course  there are people who have learned driving without a profesional instructor
nothing wrong with some people who pass on there own,me thinks can save one hell of a lot of money, horses for courses  and all that :thumbsup

Now this is what I thought but if you think about it for a while it makes sense

Like who ever taught driver that turning right at a roundabout in the left hand lane while indicating right is OK :scratch

There are loads of drivers that do it so were they taught it?
i totaly agree with you Stig, very stupid to teach that way as it is too inflexable and yes i do know a school that does it that way as its easier than teaching some one how to be flexable and to ride a bike not a test route
I would think that that school would have a high fail rate then. There are certain roundabouts that both lanes go around to the right and therefore either can be used.

There are certain roundabouts that both lanes go around to the right and therefore either can be used.

The classic one for that is in Bridgend, where drivers (not bikers nowadays) come down the inner bypass from the Mag Court/Test Centre, stick to the LH lane through the traffic lights, LH lane again to the roundabout and then turn right towards Litchard.

All the time they are stuck in traffic instead of going straight to the front in the RH lane - plus they are adding to the congestion for vehicles turning left to Aberkenfig. Just because the instructor can't be bothered teaching them how to change lanes correctly.

To my mind they should fail for not making reasonable progress. And also for making me wait behind them. :taz

quite right, and as far as motorcycling is concerned  goes to show the importance of a good CBT :clap (there are however more who fail the test without taking any extra training but its not just about passing a test its about everything else that a good instructor can pass on as well)
