Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!

well done, next bit is easier, you may want to get something a bit bigger than a 500 when you pass, 600 or 650,will give you a bit more power, but not so mutch that you cant handle,if you go for the 500 you may wish you got a bigger engine a few months later, but you go for what you are comfortable with,as kerry said try out lots of bikes, even if you just sit on a few before you get your full ticket  :thumbsup

For once I agree with Dr Price. Get a 600 or a 650 you will learn more than riding an asthmatic 500.

Well done!! Did you do it on a 125 or DAS? If you are going restricted the a 500 would be ok (unless you are planning on keeping it for more than 2yrs) If you did DAS then as already said a 600 is a better option. I did a bandit as a first bike, good all rounder but really heavy. Fazer is a cracker or if you fancy a naked bike you won't go wrong with a Hornet.

Good luck with Mod 2 :)

depends what your after faired or unfaired, and budget, how about a yamaha thundercat 600  and a bit more pep than your average bike, or if you have more money, a triumph street triple, cracking bikes
