I'm confused! (no change!)
« on: June 06, 2011, 11:31:51 AM »
Right so if I do my direct access I can ride any category of bike correct? So do I take my direct access training first? Or do I book a test first? If I book a test which category of bike do I book it for?? it's all very confusing!

Check with whatever training school your going to go with (I went with Motorcycle Training Wales) but I booked the the test first and booked the training before hand. Book your Mod 1 first, theres a short wait for that as its only a 10-15 minute test. The long wait is your Mod 2, which had about a 5 week waiting list when I did it.

Direct access = Any bike. I think you have to be 21 or over to do it.

Hope that helps!  :thumbsup

the training school that i work for will book your mod 1 and 2 for you so that all you need to do is turn up on the start days given to you ( and pay of course),
saves you booking a test and then trying to get training to suit ,

:thumbsup i let training school book the mod one and two as they reserve spaces and it ment training was more organised around me, rather than a test date  :tup2
Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!

Agreed, find the school first then let them book the test, they have access to cancellations etc and as mentioned they can set the training to suit you  :thumbsup
