This had got to be someone just trolling the forum right?

A wanna-be biker that doesn't know what a goldwing is, doesn't understand the concept of a lower centre of gravity and wants to ban large capacity bikes.

Tom, are you even old enough to be riding anything but a moped?

Goldwing = possibly one of the most famous (next to harley davidsons in general ) large bikes out there.

Large capacity bikes are incredibly easy to handle at low speeds in comparison to a skittish 125. The heavier engine, increased torque, wider tyres make life easy

A 50cc scooter has a pillion seat, but if you carried someone on it you'd probably struggle to get up to 20mph.

Helmet: £30 argos
Gloves: £10 aldi
Trousers: £50 easily found online
Jacket: £45 again found online
Boots: £25 aldi

Kit isn't expensive if you don't wasn't it to be, my school was selling kit at cheaper prices than the above even.

I bought my helmet before my CBT, then the rest of my kit before my DAS. If I wanted to look pretty for the ladies I would buy a sports car, not get something that requires a helmet which squashes my face into that of a hamster and ruins my hair.

Kids falling off and losing their skin, make for great poster campaigns for speed cameras and lowering the national speed limit to 50mph.

Stop spoiling my fun, get the kit and get trained.

I did feel sorry for Tomkut initially, I felt sorry for him for the treatment he received (or at least lied about) and then he was exposed as the tompep that he is when lewy happened to know the examiner and filled us in on the shell suit top and casual shoes that wasn't acceptable and not these so called hiking boots he reckoned he was wearing.
I obviously know nothing about the benefits of riding a big bike compared to tomkut but that probably comes down to experience.
I feel sorry for him now for two other reasons.
1.  his inability to communicate on a sociable level with other people and tell the truth.
2. his learning difficulties which are breeding ground for prejudices like his hatred of women (or maybe he's finding it hard to admit it to himself and come out the closet).
He comes across like a confused little boy who hates the world because the world hated him first.  He is what can only be referred to as a social lepar and I personally have had a gutsful of his lying self pitying antics, his arrogance and his abuse.  I expect and get better behaviour from my ten year old son.   I f he does leave the forum, well good riddance to bad rubbish.
Reply if you find it necessary tomc*nt, I suppose you will try your best at another senseless offensive attack without purpose and direction.  A refection of your personality.
Some others may think I am being cruel and maybe I am but could you honestly think of anyone more deserving of it?
I will not read no more posts on this thread, it was not started by tomkut but his lies and baby tantrums have now finally killed it for me.

Maybe in the joke section he could start a two part joke, it could start with the letter disputing the decision and the reply could be the punchline.
Or did tomkut think he was cutting edge on cruelty and would have us all crying into our cornflake bowls?

all my love,
Ryan.

Yes, everyone else maybe melting to death on the roads but not us! Because we have a car with hair conditioner! I mean what in the name of sanity did they think we want it for? To make sure that the roof rack is more shiny and managable?

You want a reason to not wear the gear. You know it very well from bikers that just don't wear it. I'll say one: FUSS and I don't want your reply, because I know what it is gonna be.

Fuss?? See how much fuss it is trying to wipe your arse with the hands you got no skin on, whilst trying to prop yourself up on your broken ankles!!!

Seriously...... If you dont like the 'fuss' putting kit on, take your own advice and stick to the pushbike mate.  :roll_eyes

And yeah yeah......you were probably expecting the 'obvious' answer. But thats me, state the obvious. You know why, because its normally the most sensible answer. Like not turning up to your car driving test stark bollock naked, tripping your chunk off on acid..........Or, turning up to a bike test in a shell suit. Innit.  :tup2

I myself have a 125cc, (the one in my sig) and always wear All the right gear now. I've read on other forums how people say "I'll get all the kit when I get a big bike". Well correct me if I'm wrong, but I bet that more people have accidents (in cars and bikes) in 30mph zones in built up areas (people pulling out at junctions) etc, than at high speeds. I must admit that after passing my CBT, for a short while I only wore my helmet, gloves and jacket. But then I was told horror stories from other bikers that have been hit on the side by cars or come off going around roundabouts and going down straight on their knees, getting their legs badly fu*ked up. And that's WITH all the right gear so imagine how bad it would be without? After hearing all the stories I made sure that I always wore all of the right kit even when its scorching outside (a rarity in Wales but it does happen).

As for big engined bikes being more stable than a 125, I can only go on what I've experienced. I wanted to see how fast the bike could go so I went to a dual carriageway and and gave it everything. I topped out at 82mph, and did it for a few miles and was shitting myself. The cross winds were blowing me everywhere, and just as I started thinking "god knows how people on bigger bikes cope with doing 100+", when one overtook me (must have been doing 100mph) looking very calm and having no where near the stability problems I was.

To be honest though, I can understand why people on scooters don't wear lethers. They'd look a right tit!  Just get some textiles!!! lol

I'd put my money on it that he is already fried Snoopy.
With his head shoulders deep up his own arse rocking and crying in the corner because the world hates him.    :bore

just put the record straight it wasnt Tom Jones who told me about the jacket (as they wont discuss individual tests with others ) it was the CBT instructor from Rider Training wales,
reading the posts i also dont think TOPCATS first language is english ,

I do apologise for that error lewy but didn't things take a different spin as soon as you put to him the information you received from another and more reliable source.
Why can't he just admit he's in the wrong?,,,   isn't that what he said about tom jones.
