Hello there

About a year from now i did my CBT with riders edge in builth wells. I think they charge about £140 odd. A little steeper than some, but there very freindly and can't complain at the training at all. :)

I think they got some new honda 125s too learn on now aswell. Plus they supply your gear and all that.

As i remember the CBT involves a lot of off road slow riding, cones, and emergency stops. A few talks on road saftey/riding. And finishes off with an on road ride up to and around llandrindod (the best bit hahah)

You do learn a lot from it :)

Hi

I am also looking to re-do my CBT as mine has lapsed.  I used a place local to me 2 years ago in Cwmbran - BikeTrainWales - they were fab.  Really good and made sure i was okay.  Not sure if your wife would be interested or not but how about doing it at the same time as me??  I will be starting from scratch again as i injured my shoulder and could not ride ( not an accident i would like to add ).

Cheers

ps  Biketrain Wales charges £130  for a 9-hour training package, thats more than a days worth, including Bike hire ( 125cc or Scooter/ Mopeds) equipment loan and includes VAT.
She will need her theory test - doing mine again in Builth Wells in two weeks.

Shouldn't need theory just to do cbt ?
Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!

Ah thats a shame, riders edge were tidy with me at least.

DawnieB is right also to be fair. I did my DAS Mod 1 and 2 with bike train wales in cwmbran and they were very good i thought. Nicely priced too. One can't complain.

Hi,

I know this reply is late, but for CBT, DAS and post-test training try NRC Training in Welshpool.
