For goodness knows how many weeks I have called in the Texaco Garage on the A473 at Llantwit Main, Beddau, on a Saturday morning to get milk for my trainees cuppa for the morning and as always flip up my helmet, go in and pay. Last Sat I decided I needed petrol as well. Operator who had served me the previous week gesticulated I had to take my flipped up helmet off. I went in to remonstrate and told her she had served me the week before when I called for milk, but she said it was different because I needed petrol this week and it was company policy. I told her she could stick it and she wouldn't have to serve me and I'd go and get my milk and petrol elsewher. Tecos at Talbot Green proved no problem and I won't be calling at the Texaco again, not even for my milk. Perhaps we should start a list a boycott these garages where these idiotic attitudes prevail so that all Welsh Biker Forum Members can avoid them. .

Went in today just to cause grief parked just around the corner from the garage shop and walked in with my crash helmet on.Bought myself a packet of sarnies,small pot of pasta in sauce and a bottle of coke.Total cost was approx £5.As i was lookin at the shelves the cashier asked me too remove my crash helmet,but i just ignored her and carried on wiv me shoppin.As i approached the counter again she asked me too remove my helmet,so again i just ignored her.As i stood in front of her at the counter she again asked me,so i asked wot her problem was as i wasnt buyin any fuel and wasnt about to run off without payin for me sarnies....Company policy she said!! ''Wot the law states to buy sarnies i have to remove my crash helmet? Then with the queue building up behind me she just said next time she would refuse me entry to the shop with my helmet on.''Yeah right just feckin serve me and feckin shutup''was my reply....
Then i played my trump card i paid with 2p,5p that i took with me outta me shillin bottle,feckin hell she feckin lost it when i tipped my little cash bag on the counter and said ''i think its all there can you count it please''The feckin queue behind me went out thro the door and was building up on the pumps :rofl :rofl :rofl Im sure i heard mutterings behind me like ''wanker''but when i looked around nobody was makin eye contact

The instructions said "Use Windows XP or greater" so I installed Linux!

I think what some of us should do is take our helmets off and put a burka on to cover our face and see what would happen then. Bit sad but would wind them up a treat.

<devils advocate>
It is worth pointing out however that the poor fucker behind the till is just sat there on minimum wage following instructions given to him/her by their boss.  Is it really fair to give them a hard time?

If you ever see the manager behind the till then by all means tuck 'em up as best you can, just thinking it might be a little unfair taking it out on the poor fucker who's just doing as he's told?
