Strange Inventions: Motorcycle Air Conditioning System
« on: June 10, 2011, 11:25:50 AM »
Strange but true there is now a air conditioning system built for the motorcycle  :scratch

The EntroSys Motorcycle Air Conditioner is a first ever fully intergrated motorcycle air conditioning system . The system cools or heats ambient air, thus providing a comfortable micro-climate within the riding gear.

These were apparently designed & used for NASA astronauts for space missions :shocked

They will work off your current electric system with no danger of drainage & are also eco-friendly.

I get that it will help with a riders concentration as there's nothing more off putting than being too cold or hot but is this going a bit too far?

I can't seem to find a price for these only a email contact so that in it's self tells me they might be a little bit pricey.

They do on the other hand offer a 20% discount code. :thumbsup

Possibly a good idea if you're in the saddle all day everyday, like police riders, couriers etc. Or if you're travelling across Europe where different countries can have different climates, saves carrying extra clothing to keep you warm!

It would be of no real use to me though!

I usually find hanging my ball sack out of my trousers while going along does the trick, bit of a mess with the flies splattered on it at the end of the ride though  :shocked
